You can check 511la.org and it shows road closures. Looks like a lot state highways are closed around Lake Charles.

Looks like a lot of power failures in Amite county Ms. I have a few trees down on the place but none by the house. I haven’t heard of any injuries up here which is a blessing.

hwy 167 and 92 are shut down at their crossing

They turned me around at 530 this am right there. Took 2 other routes and was blocked by trees and powerpoles. Ended up having to take ridge to 343 to get around

511la.org

You might be able to get to hwy 92 by going down 167 and taking a right on Woodlawn

Then you’ll end up in Milton. Take Milton to verot or east Broussard

From Sonomo right before me

you think the gauge at Tiger Stadium was accurate last night? I think the top wind gust was 89 mph. Seemed to high.

Too high off the ground to be an official reading but it's believable enough that high up.

Our tarping didn't hold up well, so the spots that leaked before, leaked more. Nothing too major though. Our 30' by 50' metal shop held up again, amazingly. Not many people back home had a shop after Laura. We are so fortunate.

All good in Forked Island. Just some lost shingles and tree limbs down. No tidal surge. Even grandparents South of FI bridge suffered minimal damage and no tidal surge.

No power since 7 in Youngsville. Might need a tarp for a small section of roof with no shingles. Fence has dat gangsta lean. Good other than that. Hope everyone else did ok!

I have a bunch of gas if you need it. Something like 25 gallons or so. Let me know.

And I guess you can’t stop the Postal Service. I’ve seen two male trucks delivering mail in and around Lafayette this morning.
