Not going back through the thread.
I got a couple more shingles blown off my roof. Just minor. My reinforced tarps held strong. Gotta make sure no water got into my back door (my back yard and concrete is a bit low) or into my ceiling. Otherwise, looks like I may be ok other than power issues.
How did all my other LC people come out of this one?

gauge at Tiger Stadium was accurate last night? I think the top wind gust was 89 mph.
The wind gauge at Tiger Stadium is 100ft in the air. Typical wind speed is measured at 33ff. So the readings at Tiger Stadium are higher than actual.
What I can see online, Baton Rouge airport has 55mph gusts and 43mph sustained.
Ben Hur by LSU had 61mph gusts and 41 sustained.

My front and back yard look like a train wreak with branches and debris, look at my neighbors yard, few leaves mostly clean... but I can’t complain in BR I’m off essen and Jefferson and Never lost power, Directv satellite never flickered and u-verse internet never once went out

At the top of Tiger Stadium yeah.
BR Airport through midnight:
That graph is broken after midnight so can't see past that.

I heard flooding was widespread. Many homes. Not even thinking about going back to check the house until I know the apartment has power. Can’t believe this shite man.

We almost made it thru with power. Was watching the western edge of the storm and it was moving slowly east over the Sabine River which is about 20 miles west and knew when it passed we would be alright. Power went out and 30 minutes later the storm passed, Bangs head

Here in Lafourche Parish, we got more wind than I was expecting. lots of branches, central lafourche high school lost their sign, but no major outages that I know of

Back yard is a mess and no power. The houses one block north never lost power. I’m gonna wait a couple of days for the yard to dry up before cleaning. Thankfully nothing big enough to require a chain saw and no shingles missing.
I’m about to head out to hunt for somewhere that has ice so I can save all the shite in the freezer in case we’re in the dark for a few days.

Read and heard Moss Bluff off Coffey is flooded. Also the neighborhood by Louisiana Ave also got it. But other than that, it’s not as widespread as Facebook is making it out to be. Mancuso was on KPLC earlier saying most of the water has already receded.

Good to go here in College/Perkins area. Got laid last night, and did not lose power. A few branches to clean up but very lucky.
To those who are not so lucky, I am truly sorry and wish you the best of luck!
