Is it already hitting sheer? The entire northern/northeast part of the storm is gone and strongest part looks to be southwest which is odd

Air Force plane took a real weird angle to the eye
looks like the eye was maybe more north than the pilot expected it to be... I dunno... just looks weird and outside of the normal "alpha" pattern they fly
