Looking at all the satellite loops, it looks like it rotated the clouds of that good burst into the eye.

all of a sudden there's 2 planes showing inside the storm right now
1 on the periphery... other diving towards the eye from the north

I saw earlier that a NOAA plane was on the way and there was going to be some overlap. They had 2 in it earlier today. They were close enough to wave at each other.

It still could be a 3 at landfall though depending how much it strengthens tonight.
