Came in from boarding up to see the 10am track. Not good for our friends to the west and I don’t want the NE quadrant!

I asked for steering and front maps earlier. I found some but no idea what they mean.
Note for young gamers. With the MyRadar app there is a layer that you can turn on fronts. It gives a good, general idea of placement.
At this point, when dealing with a hurricane like Delta that has the potential to be a weakening high end hurricane, concerning yourself with every small shift isn't the best approach. Significant impacts will be wide ranging, and if you're solidly in the cone, you should prepare like it is coming over your house.

So latest update is better or worse for Lafayette?
And let’s say I was supposed to have a bachelor party in Nola this weekend. Would that be safe to do?

Poor LC :( Maybe it wont shift anymore and LC can stay on west side of the storm an maybe it will weaken big time.

Lol you really think this may not jog right back to the East???

Yeah, think these mid day updates aren’t much today. Feed us the real info later.
If it jogged that much and then jogged that much back, what doesn’t say it does it again?

LMAO. If you think this thing is going anywhere west of Lafayette at the most, you are dead wrong. I wouldn't even bank on that.

Nothing is really funny about it shifting west towards an area that just got decimated a month ago. Sorry they guy was wrong but some of us are praying it won't come here.

About the same honestly probably. Just shifted which side of eyewall. Slightly worse maybe but the west eyewall of Laura did plenty of catas. damage

Any further west and this is going to be an absolute catastrophe for Lake Charles.

Safe? No, but that has nothing to do with the weather.
