Wiki

The murder of Abigail Williams and Liberty German happened February 13, 2017 in basically broad daylight. The suspected killer was captured on video and there is audio recorded of the guy’s voice from one of the girls’ phones. And in 3+ years they haven’t arrested a single person in the case.

Albeit, the picture that the public has been shown isn’t a very good picture, it’s still a picture and a part of the longer video not released to the public.

The state police superintendent has given a couple press conferences about it and there’s a pretty good podcast series about the case titled Down the Hill.

The superintendent in his pressers has basically talked shite to the murderer “directly” which leads me to believe that they don’t know who the guy is and don’t have any leads. It seems to me like he’s fishing and trying to get a rise out of the killer to slip up. Possibly to attempt another murder?

Idk, what’re your thoughts on this case? I don’t think they have a clue who this person is.

Theres some good reading on reddit about it.

Supposedly some internet sleuths think its some professor that did it due to tracking geocaching or something.

Also, there's rumors on there that the murders were much grizzlier than they released to the public.

Am I crazy to think the hair on the drawing looks nothing like the photo? Photo looks like a long comb over to me and maybe even a short mullet in the back?

That’s what the podcast made it seem like.

I was going to ask how the girls were killed? I'd guess the method of killing them would be some strong clues on who it was. Also, I'm guessing they weren't shot? 2 girls, why didn't they split and run?

There's a little less than 3,000 people in Delphi itself. So if it is someone in the community, I'd be really surprised given how small it is.

That said, Delphi is not far from Purdue's campus and I-65 so it wouldn't surprise me if it's someone traveling through and that's why no one can pin him down.

Not really.

Detectives are notoriously tight to the chest on this kinda stuff. The fact that the state police superintendent went on stage in a press conference and basically called the killer out leads me to believe that they’ve got no clue who did it at all.

Police don’t call out someone like that if they’ve got a legit suspect.

Yeah, they keep saying that it’s somebody in the community. I just don’t see it.

It could be a nutcase who decided to drive across the country to a random town and kill some people for fun.

If I remember correctly, they’re pretty damn certain that the man is from/lives in the area.
