Plus...where you you think the whole “evil step-parent” trope came from?
Snow-White, Hansel and Gretel, Nastya, Myths and fairy tales from countless traditions.
I agree but that does not mean biological parents are any better.

So your wife shouldn't trust you as I assume you've screwed her over many of times, right?
I am sure I have given my wife reason to be distrustful and some may even have merit. But, she's stuck with me (and I with her) for over 25 years.

I'm the youngest of 3. Sometimes my oldest sister and I contemplate whether our other sibling is Dad's. She just doesn't fit in.
Too bad y'all aren't from Arkansas.
If you were during the next sibling three-way you could have taken a sample from inside your putative sibling with your fingernail.

A majority of the time they are objectively better. It isn’t an argument.
I mean, some people are human garbage and there’s no saving them. But in normal situations someone’s biological parents are most definitely going to care for them in a special way.

I have step kids, I treat them just as I would my own. If a person cannot do that they should not marry into that situation. Agreed. Think Ill find another thread to laugh, this shite is too real.

Not really. Hell, if anything, I probably fricked over my share of women in my lifetime. I just feel it's important to not be naïve and know your adversary. Look at the shite that's going on with Brett Kavanaugh and tell me I'm wrong.
Well said.
Keep your guard up boys..

It's a thing that needs study. I wonder if this Sweden study was ever expanded, it's a little funny to see it really is the same story everywhere.

Did he end up divorcing her when he found out?
I'm not going to lie, when my son was born, the first thought I had was "that's not my kid". But then as I looked more, I thought it probably wasn't my wife's either. Looked nothing like either of us. It was a C-section and everything was behind a sheet. I thought they did a switcheroo on us for like 3 months. He now has pretty obvious features of both of us. So basically, the moral of the story is, if you are white and your wife has a black kid, give it time.....may fade a little.

Another thing to chew on: Grandparents will invest more time, energy, gifts, money into the children of their daughters than into the children of their sons.

By some estimates, as many as 9 percent of children have misattributed paternity.
And again, now as then, that 9% is over ALL women, so for fat swamp beasts who couldn't possibly get more than one man to frick her, that percentage is 0. Ergo, there's a lot of hot women sticking guys with the tab for some personal trainer's kid.
And now you know why the "wanna be a happy man for life" expression exists. All the "grudge pregnancies."
Someone had it in for you.
