Damn. That run puts 5 to 10 along the entire I-10 corridor from Houston to Mississippi.

Tip for pet owners if if hasn’t been mentioned already. Place a tarp down in the yard for the dogs to use the bathroom. If you’ve got a piece of plywood or something to lay on top, you’ll want to secure it so it doesnt blow away.

What time are we expecting this to start to roll in? I live in Nola so just trying to get a reasonable estimate. Thanks to the Baws who keep up on the models for us, doing the lords work considering the actual weather app says we’re getting a .5 inch in Nola

Ok Citrus farmers...is it realistic to think all this snow may insulate the trees somewhat from the 15 degree ball buster temps coming after the fun?

No, snow won't stick over the entire plant. You need to water them before and let the ice build up. Ice will keep the tree at 32.

All my weather apps don’t know what to do. They are fluctuating constantly between 4 and 8 inches of accumulation. One worrisome thing I see is in SW LA the precipitation might start right before we get below freezing. That could cause a mess.

Temperatures in SWLA will be dictated by snowfall. I’ve never seen that in my life and hope I never do again. Just insane.
