Baw, don’t they have trees in snowy climates?
It comes down to how well the ROW’s are maintained in SE Louisiana, and that can be a huge difference between an CLECO/Entergy VS a Co-Op.

Same thing it's been showing for last 4 runs.
Sleet then snow.

It actually converts to snow way further south and sooner than it had been showing.
Last few runs was mostly sleet along the coast the whole duration. This looks like most all snow

The state would shut down for weeks if that happens. Nearly a FOOT of wet snow would bring down nearly every tree and power line.
You are so dramatic lol

Ok. Let’s get a foot of wet snow and see how many trees and power lines come down then.

they know absolutely nothing. For some strange reason they appear to get off on telling people the snow wont stick or that “freezing rain” is kore likely. Especially the guy on channel 6 New Orleans. He blows
The weatherman on KPLC-TV in LC was still saying at 10:00 last night that the models continue to flip flop… lol

It has a chance to be a goat weather thread.
Was hoping my dad would make it and be able to comprehend snow here as he always loved it. Sadly his body is shutting down and is any time at this point.
frick dementia.
Sorry for the derail again. Been a rough day

I hate you're going through this. Just try to hang in, and if you need to vent here, that's fine. I'm sorry, it is a terrible experience. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
