If the snow event doesn't pan out, we should see temperatures being slightly higher than current forecast, correct?

Yeah, ice on the ground plays a role in the temp forecast. There will still be a freeze.

We beat Kentucky in the PMAC and during a TV timeout the little band that does basketball played the slowest, clearest Neck I've ever heard

It was glorious. We had parents coming up to the band yelling at us.

Implying st amant has a downtown does detract from your credibility a bit baw.

On the contrary. Knowing exactly where Downtown St. Amant is only adds to his credibility.

Biggest snows I can remember were Jan 2002, Dec 2008, and Dec 2017

I remember back in 1988 around Feb. 7th, we got around 2-4" in the Lafayette area.

Feb 1988: I was a senior in HS. They sent us home around noon. Putting a bunch of 17-year olds on the road in snow they had never seen was a great idea

Jan 2002: I drove home from the LSU/Illinois Sugar Bowl in that crap.

Dec 2008: I definitely remember this as being probably 4-6 inches. It was snowing hard around 9am

2008 we had 8 inches of snow in Ponchatoula

And I'd imagine it was a shitshow

I would take driving in 8 inches of snow over driving in .0001 inches of ice every time. Driving in snow isn't that bad.

I was in kindergarten and same. Parents were furious bc they had to drive while it was coming down

Funny even back then parents were bitching about non-closures.

2008 I was
Loading an 18 wheeler with industry scaffold in 5 inches of snow in BR. Interesting to say the least.
