Decided to be the change and reach across the Isle.

As a white hetero conservative I realized recently that just arguing with people on the left with different views than me isn't gonna get us anywhere. With the advice of my pastor I decided to proactively become the change we need and reached out to people that see the world differently than me.
I started with a gay man that i interact with several Times a year during the course of business. I reached out and said I just wanted to have a conversation with him to better understand his worldview as a homosexual and what have you.
It turns out he was not gay. Somehow I misread things.

One day I was walking down the street and I saw a piano just about to fall from above on top of a male homosexual. I didn't have time to get to him to push him out of the way, so, I just yelled at him, "LOOK OUT, fig*GOT!!" The gay guy was able to get out of the way but he was upset that I called him a "fig*got". Turns out he denied being Gay.
