Truly one of the masters of music. One of the best of our lifetimes. Such a sad thing that his life was cut sort by some raging lunatic that dimmed the music world of everyone.
Probably some of you are too young to really respect him, but the Beatles were really an all time band, that in many ways, defying the norms, the band got better as they continued to record albums.

My sister went to high school with the creep that killed him. I remember Howard Cossell announcing that Lennon had been killed on MNF. And a few days later my sister showing us the killer in her high school yearbook.
