Debris falling from truck damages BMW windshield

The driver was able to pull off to the side of the road safely.
San Jose Firefighters posted the image on social media with a reminder to “always be alert of your surroundings.”

North Louisiana logging trucks have taken the lives of several of my distant family members - mostly from the trucks being broken down with the lights off and them running into the back of the log trucks.

When i was a freshmen at LSU i worked at Benny's in Gonzales. This older retired guy was a highway escort for those oversize load trucks you see, he drove a big arse f250, real nice brand new truck he took great care of. He came literally 4-5 times a week to wash his truck, then one day he showed up in this old pos hoopty, i asked him what was up with his truck and he said he was following a car hauler and one of the trucks came loose and fell off the top of the trailer and slammed into his completely totaling it. Ive always been crazy paranoid about following those car haulers since.

People used to plow into the back of tractors hauling sugar cane around New Iberia a lot. I saw the aftermath of a semi that plowed into the back of one on a foggy morning. The truck was hauling a load of drillpipe. The pipe went through the truck cab. That trucker wasn't as lucky as this BMW driver.

This is why I always either pass these frickers up, give them a shite ton of room between them and me, or put some other car in between us. I've seen small things fall off of those trucks before, and I've seen a lot of big things that didn't look very secure

Had two mattresses fly out of a pickup truck right at me... in the dark .... on i12.
fricking spun a few times off of the interstate trying to avoid it. As i was spinning i was so sure i was gonna slam into a tree and die.

Few years ago on the I110 curve log truck lost its load, they went over the barrier onto the other lanes of traffic and crushed a car killing someone
