Just a few things you might want to think about before opening mouth and inserting foot:
1) Why is there a P-40 in the bookstore?
a) Do you understand the LSU connection?
b) Why does LSU AFROTC have the Chinese Tiger as it's insignia?
2) Are you aware that the first President of LSU was William Tecumseh Sherman?
a) Where was LSU located before moving into the present location?
b) How did LSU gain possession of that location?
c) Who do you think made it possible?
d) Food for thought, would LSU exist today as is without Sherman's support?
3) Are you aware that the Bengal Tiger in Louisiana Military Heraldry officially goes back to 1838?
a) And the history of that particular unit can be unoffically traced to the Spanish colonial period?
That being said, I'd get Sean O'Keefe on the phone and have a discussion about Mike the Tiger. Make sure you understand that Mike is a third rail that you go nowhere near except to ensure if he passes on your watch, you get Mike VIII.

I'd bet that someone from the administration is monitoring all the TD boards tonight...

Can I get answers to these questions? I’m curious to know.

For the first and only time in my life LSU was consistently on the rise in rankings across the board.
Then Jindal ousted him.
Tate would be wise to get insight from O'Keefe.

I think they leave that up to the FBI.

You think he reads togerdroppings?

Why did LSU combine the system President and LSU-BR Chancellor roles into one person with F King? They're keeping that with this new loser Tate. Before then it was two different people. John Lombardi was system President when Sean O'Keefe was Chancellor of LSU-BR.
The system operated better when the jobs were separate.

To answer the questions:
1) Why is there a P-40 in the bookstore?
a) Do you understand the LSU connection?
b) Why does LSU AFROTC have the Chinese Tiger as it's insignia?
The American Volunteer Group AKA Flying Tigers were commanded by Claire Chennault, who attended LSU. LtGen Chennault actually sent a real P-40 to LSU sometime during WW2. Urban legend is that he sent one of the actual Flying Tiger aircraft to LSU and that it was stored in a crate beneath Tiger Stadium.
LSU was located at the old Pentagon Barracks which is now on the grounds of the State Capital building.
When the Army left Baton Rouge in 1872, LSU and the School for the Deaf were allowed to move in. Later in the decade, title to the Barracks was transferred to LSU. Huey Long actually paid LSU 3.7 million for the grounds (which was used to expand the present campus).
The Commanding General of the US Army at that time was William T. Sherman. You think any other Union general would have approved that donation?
3) Are you aware that the Bengal Tiger in Louisiana Military Heraldry officially goes back to 1838?
a) And the history of that particular unit can be unoffically traced to the Spanish colonial period?
The Washington Artillery of New Orleans (141st Field Artillery) has a Bengal Tiger on it's insignia. Official recognition date is 1838, but there are references taking the unit history a lot further back.
The Tiger nickname now has connotations that go before and after the Civil War. Is he going to dishonor the men who flew over the skies of China? Is he going to dishonor the memory of the men and women who died in service to this nation.
Something that hit me...also look up Lavalle Hall and see who that's named after? How about Alex Box Stadium?
