How does a junkie successfully take a drug that's so deadly it can kill you if you touch it?

Because it doesn't kill you if you touch it. Ive seen people suck fentanyl gel out of patches before. It's a total media scare tactic or some horseshite cooked up by cops who took too much and came up with the BS that all they did was touch it.

When’s the last time you used?

What was your preferred method of usage?

How much did it cost and how long did it last you?

Can you get your dick hard while on the brown?

What lingering effects do you have from your usage in the past?

What’s your favorite nirvana song?

Yup. People scraped the gel from the patches so they stayed making the ones without gel. Then people started cooking it down and shooting it=death or chewing it which would just probably make you really sick.

I’m so naive regarding hard drugs so I have to ask: Why would someone take a drug that could likely kill them almost instantly.

The thing about fentanyl is that it is regularly being used as a "booster" to counterfeit pills and cheap heroin. The problem with using fentanyl as a cheap booster is that there is little-to-no control of the dosage in a given pill or hit. No one, not even the manufacturers, the dealers, or the users know what a given dose will contain. This goes for "laced" heroin and fake pills. One pill or hit can do nothing, but the next could be lethal.
Fentanyl is cheap and relatively easy to source. It is much cheaper than obtaining real pills and it can stretch cheap heroin into much higher profit margins.

I know a guy who died from sucking the time release patches. He was an idiot in general, though.

He wasn’t an idiot - he had a disease

If you have no opioid tolerance and frick with Fent you will likely die no matter how you ingest it unless you wear it transdermal like you’re supposed to. Like I posted earlier, I can take 90mg of oxy easy and chewing Fent patches makes me sick as hell. So college kids or whomever tries some kind of pill laced with it and OD. It’s hard to overdose on legit pills. Your body will throw it up first.

The entirety of his short life (20 years) would argue otherwise. This was in the early 2000s.

new, deadly drug is being found in Louisiana for the first time. Officials say the drug is so powerful, just touching it could kill you.

I wish I could find a drug that I could try only once without getting addicted

Also who is just going around touching random street drugs?

It says that it can look like a chunk of concrete.... so people may think its concrete and try to toss it out the way.

the govt pushing for pain as the 5th vital sign
————————————————————-
It wasn’t the government pushing this,it was JCAHO (Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospitals). They are a non-profit that is supposed to ensure that hospitals give quality, safe care.Hospitals can’t get Medicare reimbursement if they aren’t accredited, therefore JCAHO wields a great deal of power over hospitals .They are the one they came up with “pain is 5th vital sign”,”pain is what the patient says it is”and the 0-10 pain scale. They vigorously monitored patient charts to ensure that pain meds were freely ordered and administered.
I would like to know how much money Purdue paid JCAHO to push opioids.
The state of West Virginia,4 cities and about 26 hospitals have joined in class action lawsuit against JCAH,it’s not likely they’ll get much money from them since they are “nonprofit”.I wish there would be a criminal investigation into them but I guess it would be difficult since all this started 2001.
