So what will you use for a fake name when you create a new account.
I've always thought it would funny to make a fake Twitter account and talk about my bowel moments, harvested boogers and anything I cough up.

Ain't that the truth. I "deleted" mine and kept getting notifications and junk for about a month before I realized there was a difference in "deleting" and "deactivating". It's way harder to get off Facebook than it is to get on.

I deactivated FB last week. Had to get off of there. Now I only have twitter and here. I follow mostly sports and funny things on twitter so it hasn't been too bad

I feel you. I just deleted my Snapchat right after the news of the Trump censoring, and I don't even like the guy. The hypocrisy in what these platforms choose to allow and censor is way out of hand.

Once upon a time when Pisces was single, it was the greatest hookup site of all time. And it was free. I never used Tinder or Christian Mingles (I heard many a whore was to be found there ironically). FB was also quite cool when only students had access.
Fb hit a big slide in the 2012 election year and when anyone was able to have a smart phone and access it. The crowd of people who put 12 sayings and memes on their wall a day grew to enormous numbers.

I got rid of twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and I’m much better for it. So much negativity and foolishness. It feeds on our worst qualities as a species.

You'd probably be better off just not checking social media for a few days while this shite blows over.
Twitter and Facebook are still good apps - they still serve a purpose and are good tools for information. There's a reason why you can curate your feeds as well. Just unfollow or hide people while you chortle at their attempts to change the world.
