It is cronyism at its best. It is paid for by business owners / lobbyists and our civil servants and elected officials get to have the time of their lives.
As someone said lots of deals get done. Well if it takes all that to get a deal done who is benefitting? The elite that attend. They pay the big money to throw the party.
It just looks bad. Maybe it is just an innocent fun event. But it looks like cronyism and politicians living the good life.

I'd venture a guess that the majority there are part of the 5% of Americans carrying 60% of the federal tax burden.

Nothing like crony-capitalism.

I don't think politicians are required to take a vowel of poverty like priest.

Lots of insecurity around here today.

I am not saying they do. But, yall cannot complain when people think the optics of smoozing it up and getting deals done at a big My Sweet 16 Debutante Party looks bad to the non-elite.

I went last night and Party was terrific but the after hours parties were even better. Saw BTE play at one of the after hours parties. A lot of fun.

Funny. I don't hear the non-elite bitching when 3 years of steady work comes in for their company because their boss threw a bitchin' afterparty and sold the deal.
If they brought you a piece of king cake back in addition to three years of steady employment, would that be enough to make you happy?
How the frick do you think deals get done? Wining and dining. A lunch at Chili's might seal the deal when Michael Scott needs to sell 20 boxes of paper. Big deals take bigger parties.

Lots of envy and jealousy for no reason. It’s not funded by taxpayer dollars, so if it’s not your cup of tea why give a frick?
If being a member of Congress is such a Cushy job, why don’t some of you whiners run and take that job to reap the benefits?

Been here a few times. On my dime.
Combo of a great tailgating day mixed with a strong New Year’s Eve party. Pretty much every day.
May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but good people and a great time.
Go once before you pass so much judgement. Geez.

To be fair Michael Scott closed the Lackawanna School District at Chili's and then fricked Jan at the Radison afterwards, that's some next level shite.

I don’t understand why anyone gives a shite. I don’t care one way or the other what parties people go to. I’m sure they don’t give a shite about my parties either. It’s all pretty stupid.

Sensible thinking my man. There's a lot of insecurity showing today.

I didn't go this year. My dad did, though.

I heard Todd Graves spent about $2 million on the weekend as king.
Different private party for every night and had Better Than Ezra perform one night and Flo Rida another.
