Thank you Jimmy Carter. An example of Government thinking they are helping, when in fact they frick up shite.

I hate this crap. I worked in manufacturing and hours worked were a cluster frick twice a year. There was never a need for this. The purported reason was energy savings.

Does anyone have a verifiable monetary savings from this idiocy?

I prefer standard time but realize I'm in the minority on this one. Getting up when it's not pitch black is awesome.

I like it not still being dark at 6:45am, but I hate it being dark at 5pm.

Do you like DST or not? The timing of this post has me confused.

There was a brief experiment with making it year round during his term. I wish we would revisit the idea.

Thanks. I wouldn’t mind revisiting that either.

I get up when the sun comes through my windows. I don’t care what time it is.

Unless I’m going hunting or fishing.

Leaving work when it's almost dark isn't so awesome.

Sucks waiting on daylight at 7am. I'm a morning person and love daylight at 6.

DST just ended. We are in standard time, now.

Which I prefer, but the number of people bitching about DST this week amuses me to no end.

I usually get off at 4. I don't do shite outside after work anyway so I don't really care.

??

Maybe I am in need of a history lesson, but I thought DST had been around for a while and that Carter just made DST year-round during the energy crisis.

It should be year-round, IMO.
