so hold up. you've got a house full of leftovers, happy kids, half-drunk bottles of liquor everywhere, no work, an internet connection, and you hate it?

Since I usually work the week between Christmas and New Year's, typically it does suck having to go to work the day after Christmas. This year is a much better set up

Its the worst day of the year simply because douchebag radio stations cut off Christmas music.

In reality Christmas music should be played until the epiphany. Or since not everyone is holy at least run it through the holidays and go until New Years day

And tomorrow is Saturday and next week is pretty much like a dead week. Work doesn’t really start again for another 10 days.

I don’t see the problem

I’d say the day after you come back from vacation is worse

We should just make Christmas Day the last Friday in December permanently and keep this setup. It sucks when it's on a Tuesday.

The older you get the more you appreciate the day after a holiday.

And yes I’m off tomorrow.

I hate it when I have to work the next day. Luckily it fell on a weekend this year so today has been much more enjoyable.

My least favorite day of the year is Jan 2nd because it’s the official end of the holiday season.

100%

Huge Christmas Season guy and knowing it's over 320+ days away is a bummer.

I can sympathize, especially this year. I’ve always loved the holiday season. It’s absolutely the best time of the year. Even as an adult, there is still magic. I usually spend Christmas in the big old house I grew up in, packed to the rafters with family. That’s not the case this year, so the post-Christmas let down will suck even more.

Wife already hinted at walking downtown and that was hard no. Not going to happen.
