I seen't it. He gave em a good score on atmosphere.
But Red Zeppelin's allure is the delicious toppings. They aren't really known for a great plain cheese pizza.
Ah well. Not a terrible score. And lots of publicity for sure.

agree with the 6.8 on the pizza. love the place but it's average on the food

I feel so out of touch. I never heard of this place before catching Tbob earlier and then this thread. Even I was there Mellow mushroom was the top near campus pizza.

I agree. I’m no pizza aficionado, but I haven’t found anything in BR that causes me to put it above Red Zeppelin. The staff, and environment really takes it over the top though. Beers on tap are super as well. Clean lines. Never a nasty nasty beer, and they are always bringing new stuff in. The Al-Freddie Mercury is one of my favorites. It’s good pizza. If we want to get persnickety about food, then pizza isn’t one of those things that hit my radar unless it’s just plain fail, and RZ isn’t.

Pretty accurate score for the plain cheese. Much better speciality pizzas..
I happened to be there and it was weird how efficient he gets in and out while being accommodating to everyone.. they knew he was coming so the pizza was ready

No. Its not terrible. Papa Johns pizza is terrible, but Portnoy's score is pretty accurate.
Just to give you an idea what I compare my standards to.. I think Sonny's in St Francisville is better than Red Zeppelin, but I think Red Zepplin is pretty good.
