I've just found that a number of women that I ended up having long term relationships with probably wouldn't have fit neatly inside of my ideal profile but we ended up really hitting it off in person.

But I've met and talked to so many different types of women that I would have never met in college just based on where I hung out and the classes I was in. Or the fact I might not have ever approached this person.

This is the problem with online dating. It removes a significant amount of real life factors and only incorporates the most vain factors.
Nevermind that most people have heavily edited/airbrushed pictures.

Probably. Again it does back to what someone is looking for.
There's many wonderful ladies out there, you gotta be open to experiences. They're probably more honest on pay sites than free sites.

I was online dating in 2007. Only used paid sites then as well. I met my ex on Match.
When I’m ready....I would do paid sites again cause I’ll be looking for a real relationship and not a hookup. You get what you pay for usually applies to most things in life....I’m sure it also applies to online dating as well.
