Daniel Penny breaks silence: ‘I am not a white supremacist’

“I mean, it’s, it’s a little bit comical. Everybody who’s ever met me can tell you, I love all people, I love all cultures. You can tell by my past and all my travels and adventures around the world. I was actually planning a road trip through Africa before this happened.”

We're really going to let a marine veteran who's never had legal trouble go to jail for a violent repeat criminal with over 40 charges on his record because:

It's best not to not even attempt to verbally defend oneself against racial allegations unless attacking the racist him or herself. Unfortunately, this quote has very much the same ring to it as, "Some of my best friends are black."
