Does anyone have any dangerous encounters with any wild animals?
I was stung by a jellyfish when I was 11. It was nothing too serious but it hurt like shite.

I'm sure that there are some hunters here that have encountered bears or cougars.

Two black bears chased me off the Apalachee River in 2011. They could have caught me if they wanted, but i guess they just wanted to scare the everloving shite out of me.

Was fly fishing and noticed I was between a momma Moose and her offspring who were down stream. When that mother moose started swimming down stream towards me, I knew it was time to go

I was black bear hunting when I was in H.S and the dogs had a bear surrounded in a bog. The dogs usually tree the black bear, but sometimes they just surround the bear, which is very dangerous for the dogs. Me and the guy who owned the dogs hauled arse to where the dogs had the bear surrounded so we could pull them off. Before we got there, the bear made a break for it and ran within 10 ft of us. Never been so scared in my life.

I've had some hogs and wild dogs get after me on separate occasions. I thought I saw bigfoot once but it turned out to be a homeless guy.

A pitbull charged me on a walk one night. I charged back at him and backed his arse down.

I've come across a couple of bears before up in the Smokies in East TN.

Other than that, I can't say or else I'd get banned.

The "I was Prey" show on Nat Geo, I think, scares the crap out of me sometimes.
The episode where the woman and her dog were attacked by a rabid raccoon (it may not have even been rabid) while on a walk was crazy. The single raccoon nearly killed the woman!
