My reaction would be “ well it’s any random winter week in my hometown of Watertown , New York again.

Immediately wonder what Rodrigo and his young sons are doing and how much they'll charge.

Huge snow events amaze me.
One of my favorite storm/weather chasers is James Reynolds, a Brit living in Japan. He documented a big sea effect blizzard a while back that he measured over 5ft in, and it was still snowing when he stopped measuring.
Here's the YouTube video of it
Some of his other videos show the specialized equipment they have for moving all that snow and clearing roads. Pretty cool rabbit hole.

I loved them until about 6 weeks ago. We had to back to back 40" storms within 15 days at sea level I'm good for a while.

Why are they even on the road? It was not a surprise….it was forecast days in advance.

I think the video portion with the people stuck on the highway is I-80.
1. The snow plows can't keep up with keeping the intersate open when there is a blizzard.
2. Most of the vehicles are travelers who didn't keep up with local forecast.
