They don’t really understand What Leftism is and they can’t escape the American frame of reference. For instance, American Progressives are globalists so they have a hard time understanding how Leftists were Nationalists. Just simple stuff like that.

Assuming all that is correct, what's the body count on the right side? It is harder to calculate for sure, since so much of the warfare on the right side these days is economic. Much more insidious and hard to quantify.

Hitler WAS considered a Leftist in his day. Because he was. The fact that he was also a Genocidal Nationalist doesn’t negate that.
Hi Chi Minh was a Communist and a Nationalist. All of the names I mentioned, including Hitler, were Men of The Left. The fact that he was a Fascist doesn’t preclude that. He was a Leftist Fascist.
