I don't know where even to start an excerpt of this one.
This is a very well reported look at what happened.

I hope he does something good with his second chance at life. Not everyone is lucky enough to have one.

If it was gonna happen then it happened at the right place and time

Yeah. That was an ignorant comment above yours.

Conspiracy theorists are all over twitter saying Damar is actually dead and that a stunt double was there at the game today. Can’t believe people actually believe it

I mean it was a bit odd that his face was always covered every time they showed him

Celebrities like to try and go incognito all the time. It’s nothing new.

I watched my 3 year old die when his heart stopped while he was being rehydrated during treatment for a stomach bug. He had no chance even with medical people in the room next door.
What was ignorant about my comment?

Has anyone reported a cause for this event?

Some believe it could be explained by commotio cordis.
This makes sense to me as a medical provider. Although I didn't recall the name of this reaction, once I saw the impact that he took, this came to mind.
quote:
Commotio cordis is a condition in which an abnormal heart rhythm (ventricular fibrillation) and cardiac arrest happen immediately upon an object (usually something small and hard like a baseball or hockey puck) striking the chest directly over the heart at a very critical time during a heartbeat

I don’t think he’s really dead but that could have been almost anybody.

It worked on the world when Paul McCartney died.

Can you imagine what the contract for providing these services pays?

I heard they had to use a big magnet to pull the vax out of his arm

It still is not known why Hamlin had a cardiac arrest. A likely explanation was a rare event, commotio cordis, in which a blow to the chest — in his case, from a tackle — at exactly the right 20-millisecond interval in the heart’s cycle can make the heart stop. But Hamlin’s doctors still need to eliminate other possible causes for his injury, like a heart defect. Sometimes, they never find a cause.
Not even a mention of what much of the country suspects.
