Key piece today was Jean had a faint pulse when Police arrived and CPR was initiated.

Guyger did not render aid of any sort after shooting Jean .

Kinda points to it NOT being accidental.

She could have at least grabbed a towel or whatever to help stop bleeding!!! Only a cold-blooded, uncaring person would just stand there and do nothing but use their cell phone.

Not sure what her position was on DPD, but it sure seems like NONE of her training kicked in. She literally did nothing to help the victim. Wow.

Used cell phone not radio.
Rendered no aid.
fired upon an unarmed man.

Hell, even if this was her apt and he was an intruder, she should be guilty of SOMETHING.

At what point was she reasonably in fear for her life? None that I can see.

Been wondering the same thing. Are people thinking she’s just some kind of cold blooded thrill killer?

Yes.

Simply bc she’s white and a cop.

They have a thirst for it according to everyone nowadays.

Not at all, but this woman apparently should have never been a cop. Also, her being a cop should be irrelevant.

But if the defense brings it up, the prosecution should ask why she never followed her training.

She entered an apt, shot an unarmed man killing him. What should her sentence be?

Has anything come up about how she got in? Was the door open? I thought I read at one point they were higher tech Locks to where her key wouldn’t work?

Geez, if this really happened I'm sure you would love to save an intruder in your home. Let's not pig pile here, your statement is asinine.

With this case, say he had a gun by his side and shot back, killing guyger. I promise you that he would have been charged with murder from the get go and given zero bond.

The key IMO is why she shot first and looked around 2nd. I believe she had lived there a year or so already right? I could see if she just moved in and had never done this before, but if you lived there a year you likely got off on the wrong floor a time or 3 already.

The thing that makes the "oops wrong apartment" defense seem bullshite to me is that he had a red doormat in front of his apartment while she has nothing in front of her door. Even if I'm tired as hell I'm going to notice a doormat in front of my place that has suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Defense says she was having a sexually explicit chat with her partner and distracted.

In an Old Testament kind of way, would it be wrong for her to get a harsh sentence in return for killing someone somewhat accidentally?

Her work schedule was also clarified, with officials stating in the eight days leading up to the shooting she worked five days and had three days off. On the day of the shooting, she worked five hours and 45 minutes overtime. It was part of a continuing effort by prosecutors to show Guyger was not as fatigued as defense attorneys have claimed.

She wouldn't be put to death immediately but exiled from the city until the death of the high priest. And if Jean's family saw her in the city before that they could kill her.

Yep, they'd been sexting for over 16 minutes according to the DA.
