DISD is a disaster. There’s only 1.5 decent high schools in Dallas. The problem is that all of Dallas County and multiple school districts are impacted by the judge’s order, including Highland Park, Carrollton, and Irving.

You have to escape to Collin, Denton, Tarrant counties to escape Dallas politics.

Is Colleyville still a desirable place around DFW? I know around 2007 or so it was highly sought after.

Except DISD has the #6, #10 and #18 ranked high schools in the country.

Clay Jenkins Is just taking orders from his Dem overlords to keep the County shut down as much as possible through the election.

Perhaps you haven’t heard of a tiny little school district, HISD?

They’re doing the same thing Pedro.

It’s one of the big money burbs and is highly desirable. It’s interesting because there are still lots of holdouts with ranch houses and big plots of land next to a subdivision with grand homes. As soon as they die, though, their kids sell the land with the quickness.

Biggest problem I’ve noticed recently is a big increase in homeless fricks at every intersection

I have family that live on Kentwood drive in Rockwall. For a very long time they were in a broadband black hole.

Rockwall is definitely a nice place to live, but yeah if you get 2-3 miles off of 30 you are on farm roads.

I have no ties to, allegiance to, or affinity toward Dallas.

But I’d also be willing to bet you live in a much shittier place. So where do you call home?
