i'm having a hard time believing the CDC is telling us the truth about how this disease can be transmitted. seriously. this thing could be a deal breaker for humanity

You are focusing on the symptomatic aspect. But, his point I think is that unless this PD employee did some things in Duncan's home that defy logic and common sense, Ebola seems to be MUCH easier to contract than has been previously explained.
