I mean it’s that same city that wants to let folks off if what they steal doesn’t exceed a certain threshold. What do you expect?

If it’s a person in need stealing basic necessities. Damn those pesky facts again. Always getting in the way of a good narrative.

Too late, TH. The Dallas DA is now an Anarchy sympathizer secretly funded by Sarah Silverman and Timberlake. Meme will be made post-haste.

Yeah, that's fricked up.

It’s fricked bc that’s not what happened. The “protesters” planned on going to the areas where the curfew wasn’t in place ahead of time. Word got out about this and residents across the bridge stopped them from entering their neighborhoods.

Yes. It’s for people stealing to survive, but if they commit other crimes along with it, everything is prosecuted.

The issue to have with it would be a DA legislating from his office instead of doing his own job. We don’t have to pretend people can just go around stealing $500 TVs in order to argue that point.

It's fun to watch. Like being stuck in a Southpark episode.

White guilters fail to realize black folks hate them too.

If Dallas wants that kind of DA then Dallas can have that kind of DA.

Police led them onto the bridge after closing it to traffic then tried to arrest them.

Across the bridge is where a lot of them likely live. It’s half ghetto half hipster gentrification so like 100% of people protesting at these things.

They're not simply turned out without consequences. They're processed and charged but not held with a need for bonding out. There was a case he referenced when doing it where a girl was held in jail for 2 months over a theft of like $105 bucks or so. That cost the city several thousand for her being inside and not out. He thought that was a bad use of taxes.

So it’s ok for them to continuously block highways after being warned not to. Get yourself educated and tune into Fox News for some unbiased coverage of the numerous examples of violent protests tonight and throughout the weekend.

Is that why police led them into it and blocked off the other side?

I watched someone filming from the bridge itself. It was live unedited video without any spin to it.

Sounds more like like they broke the curfew and the place preceded with plan that allowed for peaceful and safe arrest of those in violation of the LAW.
