Then you haven't eaten around Dallas lately. It's a very underrated food city with a ton of great stuff to offer.

It's y'all's version of all the Houston papa places.

Pappadeaux's - serves nearly every dish over dirty rice.
Pappasito's - very very mehh TexMex for Texas.
Pappa's BBQ - below average BBQ for Texas.

it's Senior Citizens, Baby Boomers, and tourists who keep these places open. And it needs to stop.

Dallas proper has a better food scene than the suburbs and that's not even a question.

Typing it out, does not make it true. There is more growth in Collin county and they are getting top notch everything. There are legit kick arse places to eat everywhere up here now and no they are not just chains.

This is still a weird point to dwell on and argue, just more proof America is getting fatter.

Outside of eating wars - Collin county has better fire and police departments, lower crime, better roads, superior politics, smarter schools, stronger athletics, job mecca. The list just goes on and on and on.

The only thing Dallas has is old money and no of you here have old money.

Edit - When I was your age, I thought Dallas was awesome as well. It is OK, we all grow up sometime.

Kick arse mom and pop food places are all over DFW. Hell Celina has a BBQ joint rated 2nd best restaurant in the whole country.

The burbs do have some good restaurants. The problem is they are so spread out you have to drive 30 minutes to get to one good one, then another 20 minutes to get to the next good one. In Dallas, they are all within 10-15 minutes of each other and you are often walking distance from several.

You are all way to fixated on the food and just ignoring all the other shithole elements of Dallas.

I get what you are saying having several good food places close by to each other, how many meals are you eating a night since you can walk from one to the other?

That is a kick arse selling point - Come to Dallas where our Police department is failing, but you can have 2 dinners a night within a 10 minute walk of each other.

The discussion was specifically about food. You're just trying to shift it because you can't win.

It means if you're in one area, you have multiple options. You don't have to play dumb to invalidate a good point by him.

The discussion is about Dallas being a shithole. You are trying to shift it to food to justify your poor living choices.

I made a joke about Kenny's places then you and 50 tried to convince me the burbs have a better food scene.

You did this to yourself.

I haven't made poor living choices. You're just so immensely triggered by a place you don't even go to.
