Biggest scam was on the taxpayers as they paid for it. Then once built, they when not for profit and scared the taxpayers again for no property taxes.

At the dimensions most often claimed to describe the boat it would not be possible to float the load involved without using some advanced construction like honeycomb or torsion box structure and epoxy/fabric.
The amount of wood required to float, without any regard to seaworthiness of being navigable, would surpass the buoyancy of the structure and the cargo as described.
The volume of that boat is about 65% of that which would be required to carry the cargo.
There are some holes in the story that have yet to be filled....

Gopher drone was sent down into the core drilling holes in an attempt to reach the mapped voids. Gopher needs some modifications in order to look around, as his wheels had trouble moving on the very loose sediment on the ground.

I think if this boat was found and Noah and the story of the animals are real, the boat floating is the least on anyone’s mind. Ive been following this pretty close and it’s crazy they can’t raise funds for it.
