so if these claims made by this particular individual were scientifically verified to the highest level of your satisfaction, would that lead you to believe that this is the Ark of Noah or what would be your explanation at that point?

i would say higher/better than that.
the options are:
a) this person is a grifter and is seeking to make his fortune on suckering a bunch of ill informed idiots about a fairy tale
b) this guy's claims of finding subterranean structure is accurate and there truly is something beneath the surface as his proposed findings have found
i think its wise to be skeptical in things like this, so i agree with you there, but he might also be telling the truth and displaying factual and accurate information. if that is the case, then it becomes a question about what he has found which will all be fleshed out through the scientific process.
the options are:

Even if b is true, not only can a be true, but it doesn't mean it has anything to do with Noah.
