I didn't cry, but I was depressed for 2 years.

I still get emotional thinking about seeing my oldest girl hop out of the truck and walking to school on her first day of kindergarten.
That tiny little girl with the big ol book bag on. Onions.

My dad was emotional when I moved out.
Because he had to start mowing the lawn and doing household chores.

My dad cried like a baby for days after my older brother left for the Navy. My dad doesn't cry. When I left for the Air Force, I got a hug....but no tears were shed.

I don’t think my dad cried but I know my blood brothers dad wept like a woman when he moved out.

Didn’t cry but still pass by his room, pause, reminisce and slowly bring myself back to whatever I was doing.

Didn’t cry, his moving on to next phase of his life meant he was maturing.
Now if he tried to move back in. . . . . .

I cry everyday because of my relationship with my son. We had a good business that has been destroyed along with our relationship. I sincerely hope I die soon.

Bro, it’s never to late to make thing right with your son. I doubt he feels the same way that you feel.

Didn’t cry but felt some emotions when we moved the oldest to his dorm this past August. He’s come home twice since then and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna change the locks on the doors now.

We are probably about 2.5 years away from all of the kids being gone. Not sure if I'll cry but it will be weird for sure.

I know I'm gonna cry like a baby this spring when my daughter graduates from UGA. It will be one of the finer moments in my life. She got word that she was accepted to med school a few weeks, and we both cried with joy on the phone. It will be one hell of a moment seeing her get that diploma.

No. I was proud when each of them moved out. It felt like a significant milestone and a significant achievement. I might have felt something in the corner of my eye, but it could have just been allergies.

I think when the youngest one leaves it will certainly be kind of a "now what" moment but we'll be fine
