They reviewed the tape, and they are buying his being in Texas at the time of it.

So the charges against an innocent guy are dropped, NOLA does something right for once
They still have 4-5 people locked up over this right? It's not like he was the only person arrested

He wasn't even in town the day of the shooting. In this case, he really did do nothing.

Short of that video, they would have run this innocent man through the system for life. Maybe even a death penalty. Prosecuters and cops are a scary entity together.

He claimed he was in Houston the day of the shooting. His family hire a PI to get statements, video from the mall he was shopping at, credit card receipts, cell phone tower pings etc.

given the history of the justice system in new orleans I made an assumption. It appears I spoke too hastily in this case.
