How do all these people who look like they’re unemployed afford to visit Omaha hot a week? Job, gas money, hotel, food, beer, game tickets. Guess that’s why the average person has a few thousand in credit card debt

Only person I know that went this year spend 2500 in 3 days and he said he did not go all out.

This. Theyll be working shift work until they die, but they got to go to the CWS one year and rent a sick 2 BR condo on the Orange Beach Bay every summer.

Went in 2004.
We drove up, split a hotel room between four people. Tickets were $10 a piece for general admission.
Spent money on food and beer. All in for less than $500 a person for a five day stay.

Some will, but it’s not unheard of for redneck looking people to be wealthy. Or at least have enough to afford a moderately priced baseball game.

I went this year. Left on Sunday came back on Wed. Was a hell of a time! Loved it. I haven’t figured it up but prob cost around 1k total gas and all. Would do it agian

Nah, you can do it for cheap. Went up last year with a buddy for champ series. Drove, slept in vehicle on air mattress, showered at the YMCA. GA tickets are $15 and we brought our own beer. We spent less than $1k total. Most people arent doing it that way, but it doesnt have to be expensive.

It is only a 6 hour drive from fayetteville arkansas. Kids are out of school.
