so I assume many of you OT ballers have custom battery carts. What I am looking to spend on one jacked up with rims, tires & custom color? What kinda accessories are the "must haves"? Any way to get more torque outa one of these to go slightly offroad? Any recommended places in BR surrounding areas to purchase one custom? TIA

I just bought a $2011 club car for $2,700. It is sparkling dark green with wood grain dash, lights, blinkers, seat belts, rear seat that folds up to make a bed, radio, windshield wiper. Street legal.

We use it daily in the neighborhood. I use a four wheeler for the off-roading.

From what I saw here in the Dallas area, you are looking at $4,500 and up for what you're looking for.

Very useful tool depending on how you use it.

Why not just buy a side by side? Much more useful, and you don't have to look like a giant tool bag while driving it.

I just can't see my 70 year old mother rolling around on a side by side at the lake house.

See what kind of prices you find and then let me know if this is a terrible deal. I could sell this thing for $4,500 quickly.

With golf carts, be more worried about the age of the batteries than the age of the cart. New batteries for my cart would run by themselves around $800. I bought mine with brand new batteries.

I use a jacked up golf cart on the beach in Grand Isle. It needs to be jacked up to get over the dune and washouts in some areas. Works like a champ.

I recently bought golf cart for driving around our small town in. The place I got it specializes in custom golf carts, everything you mentioned, but I opted for a normal one. I think they just look better without lift kits and rims. I wouldn't put 'rims' or a lift kit on my vehicles, so I'm not going to do it on my cart. I got a 2012 for $3700, with the rear seat and road worthiness package.
