Cursing out cyclists on the highway

...is illegal. Whoops!
"Louisiana prohibits anyone from harassing, taunting or maliciously throwing objects at a bicyclist."
Louisiana Bike Laws
Sitting 10 vehicles deep in line behind three cyclists/scumbags going up a hill at roughly 4mph in a 40mph zone, I decided to come home and and do a little light reading on the subject. Turns out, their actions present no legal issues at all, but the ole fella who drove by and yelled at them to, "get the frick out of the road!", could get in trouble.
How are bicycles in the highway still a thing?
These people, I assume, are typically moderately to highly successful in their careers. Not poor, hopeless trash that you usually think of as causing problems for others and not giving a shite. Why are they out in the highway in tights on a bicycle with a line of cars behind them?
I know. 100th bicycle thread. So pass a law already and get them the hell off the highway so we can shutup about it.

It’s not the bicycles or bicyclists that are the problem. It’s the lack of roads and infrastructure to support it that’s the problem.
If BR was set up for cyclists it would not be an issue, but it’s set up for an ever expanding spread of suburbs where cars rule the day because they have to, and there is no choice but to have one in order to survive and thrive in society.
It’s the way our cities and communities are laid out, and the roads that connect it all. It’s just not set up for bicycles.

I'm in better shape than you. I'm confident in saying that because I'm in better shape than most. Like maybe top 1%...?
So shaming the couch fatty will be way off base in this instance.

Does the law cover if the bicyclists is acting like a dewsh that thinks they own the fricking road?
I live in Texas so I really don't care.

False. There are plenty of bike lanes in NWA. Yet these aholes are still in the middle of the street spaced out like Ponch and John so you can't get around them.
I would imagine that were BR to have the same bike lanes as other bike friendly cities it would still have the same problems. Bikers are yet another group that has become entitled.

Nope. I'll just leave it at that. Internet bragging means nothing but I'll say this- my daily workout routine would straight murder you. I'm literally paid to lift weights, run, bike and swim.

It mentions that they have equal rights to vehicles but can't impede the flow of traffic. Figure that one out. How is a bike doing 15 in a 55 not impeding traffic? And its so unbelievably dangerous.

So now that we are both fully vetted super heros, can we talk about the bicycles now?

They should take that brick in the kind, loving way in which I meant it.

Based off the downvotes for the original post, and the upvotes for running them over or spiking the tires, I'm guessing people aren't reading passed the first line. Frickin OT.
