MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 3200 block of Brookwood Drive on reports of a shooting around 8:30 p.m. April 17. First responders found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified as Jaquan Lewis, 21, of Montgomery, was found in life-threatening condition. Both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment where Lewis succumbed to his wounds. Friday, police arrested and charged My’Qurious Solomon, 21, with murder and attempted murder. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
