Any reason other than her being a complete piece of shite isn’t valid. “Trying to understand their mindset” is just people trying to find a way to say someone isn’t as bad as people think they are.

No, it means the DA should take that into account when considering the accusations she’s making. But he didn’t, he saw a political opportunity and took it and actively broke the law to push his agenda forward.
