I don’t like paying 4K for a 7 day cruise (carnival) I definitely don’t want to pay 8-10k for Disney

I caught a drunk dude pissing on my cabin door on a Carnival cruise. My wife heard a noise at ththe door while we were sleeping so I got up to see what it was and there’s this a-hole standing there pissing on our door. Our cabin was in an alcove at the back of the ship so it offered some privacy I suppose. The guy was so drunk he could barley stand up and Carnival security would not do anything about it except clean up the piss and take a report.

Carnival Cruises

Found your problem.

Don’t be a cheap arse and go on a decent cruise so the scum of the earth is >80% of the cruise

The 311 Day cruises are worth every penny (if you like 311).

Never been on a cruise and no desire but I am curious. What make one line trashier than another? Price? Thanks.

You know how they say guns don't kill people, people kill people?

Apply the same logic to cruises.

There is an certain type of person onboard these ships( about 20%) that you have to ask “ why are you even here” all you do is sit in the air conditioned buffet and complain about how hot it is. And if you get in the pool you get mad because someone splashed your hair. I have never seen the amount of people that think they are too good to wait in lines.

This is very confusing. Are you saying there are too many people on Carnival cruises who think they're too good to be there? Too many don't know they're place, or maybe you mean they're not trashy enough? The OP sounds like it's actually the opposite of the usual cruise thread. Please advise.

I said I would never cruise cause of what you mention
My son took my wife and I on my first cruise last month. He took us on rccc specifically to avoid what you describe
7 nights three islands
It was terrific and non of the issues you describe
He has been on many different lines and carnival knows their market well and things are set for them
Try a different cruise line

Did the three day land trip to Denali. If I had seen you it may have been jealousy. This part was travel most of the day, one quick excursion, eat, sleep, repeat.

Was a good way to see part of the world I had wanted to see since reading call of the wild in high school. You got the real view while I got the brochure.

It was still beautiful and I want to go back. Don’t think the old lady will go for your version. Maybe something in between.

First of all, I know cruises are trashy. But the kids and wife like them.

It is your job as the Pater Familias to steer them, with a firm hand if need be, away from the baser instincts of their inferior nature.

Take a Disney Cruise or one that prices out the riff raff.

you trying to get me banned, not gonna fall for it. But why do people pay thousands of dollars to eat all day, stay out of the sun and act like the standard rules don’t apply to them

Just know that if you are in Grand Cayman, you can't buy any BBD at the shop there and have it taken back to the boat for you.

So, cruises or all-inclusives aren't really my thing, but why would one choose an 8-10k cruise over an all-inclusive? I feel like if I had to do one of those I'd choose all-inclusive every day, but maybe I'm missing something.
