I'm a registered organ donor and if they can use any of what's in me to help someone, so be it. Once that is done, cremate me and do what you want with the ashes.
To hell with the expense of a burial, especially in the state of La. where the funeral directors have a lock on the business of burying folks. People are looking at close to $10K for a funeral and burial plot with a headstone now.
