was she a former student? That would be enough to cast doubt that something fishy was going on before i imagine.

we had a situation at a school up here recently similar to this (in regards to the guy having done it before and then doing it again). Teacher (who is actually married to a former student of his (didnt start dating till well after she graduated and its only like a 5 year gap so it wasnt completely awful, i guess, but still)) had been run out of a previous job for flirting with students. Nothing illegal but enough to get him run. Does it again at his next landing spot a few years later. I actually saw the texts of the last instance and shite was weird.

As a teacher I dont get how idiots keep getting themselves wrapped up in this shite. Its not like its hard to avoid.

I feel like there is a difference between a teacher listening to a student and a teacher sending sexually suggestive material to a student…

But you do you

If I had a kid at STM I would be in that principal's office this morning. Do these fools not even perform a cursory google search before hiring teachers?

If he’s a teacher dnd she’s a student that’s enough. Doesn’t have to be “his” student

You think the physical aspect just happens out of nowhere? Or did it start with inappropriate conversations?

Not sure, but he was a teacher at North Vermilion before coming to STM.

I’m curious to see the path you are heading down.

I don’t know the history between these two.

I’m
Guessing it didnt start with a 4th grader telling the teacher she might be a lesbian.

A relationship between a teacher and a student should be purely business. It should not be personal in the least bit.

These things need to be taken out of society. There’s no fricking rehab from this.

I've watched two girls and one cup and wasn't grossed out as much as that guy's video. I didn't make it 5 seconds.

there's a difference between this and a dude diddling little kids. this girl might be 18 for all we know. it's inappropriate for sure, and he has no business teaching, but i think your "final" solution is a little strong.

Teachers can be role models and mentors. Personal relationships in terms of knowing the student's likes, hobbies, interests, problems, etc. is healthy. As long as it's not sexual. Anything a teacher talks to or tells a student, he or she should have no issue telling the principal or the parent.

ehhh it depends on what you define as business and personal. Sometimes the nature of the job lends itself to having personal conversations with students to build relationships (helping htem be successful). There has to be clear lines/boundaries that arent being crossed though.

I don't/wouldn't want a teacher speaking with my child about anything not school related. That isn't their job, they are there to teach subject matter.

exactly. Any conversation I have with students I would have with a coworker with no issues or worries.

that's a dumb take. i had teachers all throughout school growing up who knew personal stuff about me, and they were great teachers.
