Nah, you're right to call bullshite. A mannequin is what OP kept posting. A manikin is used for medical training, such as a CPR dummy.

A manikin is used for drawing humans in a variety of poses (art manikins), a mannequin is used for displaying clothes.

Nope, I actually bought one yesterday for my desk.
I was looking up funny poses for it and saw some creepy old ones. Pretty much that's it. I like to create original content for this site, to get downvoted, since everything else here seems like a copy from some other message board.
