I don't know (and actually doubt) these are true. Probably more urban legend than anything, truth be told. But I remember hearing two break-up stories during my days in the army.

The first one deals with a soldier who has been out in the field for a month or so and when he comes back in he finds his wife in bed with a black dude. Well they live in the 5th floor of this on-base housing unit. He goes into a rage and throws JodyBoy out the window to his death. He then processed to beat his wife and had just picked her up to throw her out the window when the MP's show up and give him a double tap to the chest, killing him and saving her life.

The second story supposedly took place in the navy. The story is that this married guy is out to sea on a carrier. They get mail call and his wife has sent him a care package. Inside this package she has sent him a porno video she says she picked up at the adult video store just for him. He gets his buddies together in the Day Room to watch this movie she's sent. The video starts and all you can see is a woman's body (but not her head) and she is getting a train run on. This goes on for a while and then the camera moves up to show that the woman is actually this sailor's wife. She looks into the camera, and while some rando-dude is still balls deep inside her, she says "I want a divorce". At that point the tape ends. Of course this dude goes nuts and hey have to evacuate him off the ship.

I would not doubt it's been used in a movie by now. I can't remember exactly but I think it was sometime around 92-93 when I was told this story.
