If you are crossing into the US this is one of the last places you would attempt.

Look at a map sometime

They cross oceans. They walk through thousands of miles of jungle. They cross deserts. Mountains won't stop them.

Mountains deserts and jungles don’t stop them. But an unattended ten foot foot wall will?

Big Bend is extremely overrated.

To you.

To me, it's one of my favorite places

I’ve myself crossed the Rio Grande At Big Ben National park in small aluminum boat into Mexico with high school friends. It was a simple to do, we each paid $1 to some random Mexican and then got drunk in a Mexico town. Actually, did it twice.

Don’t act like the border in impassable at Big Ben by only showing the impassable parts.

yes, and you had to drive 20 miles just from Panther Junction alone (itself a hundred miles from Alpine or seventy miles from Marathon with armed border control stations on both highways).

so i wont act like the border is impassable at Big Bend by only showing the impassable parts if you wont act like you cross the border in Boquillas and you're suddenly in Houston.

Last Friday I asked CHAT GPT to search for times and locations that CPB and the national park service conducted open to the public communication sessions regards the planned security improvements in the Big Bend area. In the last 6 months there were exactly zero. Chat did find one closed door session with a county commissioners group in one county, with no public follow up. CPB and national parks absolutely screwed up by not communicating.

Chat did say there was to be a public communication meeting today in San Antonio
