Might want to try comfort pads:

Some people love these, some say they're useless, but they're worth trying.

how about you start by not being a lard arse

You know I have seen you post stupid stuff on here and be a general jackwagon so I wouldn't expect anything less. Unfortunately your ignorance of this also is expected.
It must suck to be such a douche all the time.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions as I am new to this. Will attempt to loosen the straps a little.
And for those that are ignorant about sleep apnea you don't have to be overweight to have it. My Doc is 6' 180 lbs and uses one.

Resmed makes some soft Velcro strap covers that help with the marks.

Worth it. But they’ll go away in a few minutes

CPAPs are on back order around the country. Thanks Brandon

This isn't true at all. I got mine in 3 days. I went thru betternight. Phillips may be behind on production, but they're not the only ones making them.

There WAS an issue at the beginning of covid. That was when Resmed and Phillips shifted production to vents instead of cpaps and apaps.

Morning shower takes my strap lines away.

The cpap shortage is directly related to the millions of machines impacted by the recall. I now use the inline filters while I wait for a replacement machine. Cheap on Amazon. Replace monthly.

I have trouble when I fall asleep with leaking because all my facial muscles relax. Leaking fricking sucks.

I have a short beard, so I overtighten and sleep on my side most of the time, burying my face into the pillow. to basically apply even more pressure. I had a sore nose for a couple days, but I sleep awesome like this. If I roll onto my back, it leaks because of my beard and I sleep like shite.

Because I do this, I have bad indentions from the straps, but by the time I get up, cook some breakfast, and take a hot shower the lines are gone.

That's been the issue for a ton of people, ever since CPAP was invented. Full face masks are extremely hard to get a seal, simply due to the large surface area the mask has to cover. If you are on a high pressure, 10cmH2o+, it makes it worse. Even when you can get them to seal 100%, a slight bump from turning over, can cause a leak. Unfortunately, there isn't a viable alternative to the person with sleep apnea who mouth breathes.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Congrats on finding that needle in the haystack, but I assure you, there is a MASSIVE issue, worldwide, in obtaining CPAP/BiPAP. Philips recall coupled with computer chip shortage, has made obtaining a new CPAP, very hard. Now through in the supply chain issues with transportation. Resmed can't meet demand with Philips shut down. 3B Medical has massive backorder issues going out 3-4 months.

This is what you want. No more marks on your face in the morning.

I filled out my registration, per Phillips recall procedure, in September and have heard absolutely nothing in response.

Is this typical?

Unfortunately, yes.

The recall is mess of epic proportions. Replacement machines are being built, but they aren't handling the disbursement very well, to say the least. We were shipped about 10% of what was needed to replace. Each machine was attached to a particular person. Philips took weeks just to tell us who to give the machine to. That's just a small example. We opted out of the disbursement-end, and just let them handle it. They are still sending us machines months later. We have no idea who they are for.

About the only thing you can try is loosening the straps a little. But not to much because you want get a good seal

Loosen the straps..

Doesn’t have to be super tight, just a good seal so it doesn’t leak. If it does still leak, you may need another mask..

See if your DME has a gel mask.

Gel mask

He obviously breathes thru his mouth while asleep. Nasal mask wouldn't do him any good.

A roll of athletic tape from walmart, costs a buck and a half.

Same way you get rid of a pillow imprint or bed head. Take a warm shower when you wake up.

My suggestion: ask for a nasal mask. Even if you think that you *may* mouth breathe, it’s worth a try.

No imprints, and vastly more comfortable.
