Hell no. In fact you should block all of them ASAP.

If they request me, yeah. I don't post anything anyway.

Slightly unrelated.

I made an alter facebook account. Friended a handful of local bars. Then friend request a handful of their friends.

Now I have whole new fb life that is much trashier than my old boring one. And its much easier to say WTF to all the stupid crap they post.

Carry on...

I don't "friend" people from work. I rarely hang out with them outside of work (maybe once or twice a year). I don't have much in common with my co-workers, as most of them have kids around my age.

I've only had one coworker as a "friend" on Facebook, but I was friends with her before she became my co-worker, and isn't my co-worker anymore.

If we are actual friends, I will add you and not then set privacy settings.

If we are not actual friends, I add you and then add you to the group that can't see anything.

works out great.

I'm friends with some of my coworkers. I don't mind because I don't put anything personal on FB anyway.

I have one who is a current co-worker, but I was friends with him before I started working there. He actually helped me get the job.

The other one is the same level as me.

I have gotten many from our staff, and I ignore/delete all of them. A couple of times they have come and asked me why I haven't accepted it, and I just tell them I have a personal rule that I don't facebook friend subordinates.

As far as my bosses, I'm pretty sure not a single one of them has facebook. So safe there.

I was friends with many of my coworkers. When I learned just how much some of them snoop around I deleted every one of them.

It's not that I post personal stuff or much at all really. I just prefer not to give them the opportunity to dig around.

If you post a bunch of stupid opinion related shite then I wouldn't. If you are just a normal person as far as facebook goes and only non party related stuff goes up then no worries.

Just use FB only when necessary and it won't be a problem. I really only keep a FB page so people from my past I don't keep up with can contact me if they need something.

If you are true friends do it. My cousin just lost her job because she announced her engagement on Facebook and they saw the Fiance lives in another city.

(they didn't fire her, but demoted her and transferred her, in hopes she quits)
