This is in an office. A baw I work with popped his ACL playing flag football and is taking almost 6 weeks off. He has some PTO and paternity leave left so he's taking it all.

Hire a temp until he returns. Preferably a hot, immoral blonde with big tits and a fat arse

I just think it's pretty shitty to just say frick it for 6 weeks, I know I wouldn't shut it down for 6 weeks, to help the people picking up my slack if nothing else.

My mother recently had quadruple bypass heart surgery. Her surgeon told her no work at all for 4 weeks, followed by another 4 works where she can work at home, starting off just a couple of hours a day, and increasing as she gets stronger. Then, next 4 weeks, she can work every day but should do some days at home and some at the office. After 12 weeks, back to office full time.

She normally works M-Th in the office and Fridays at home.

A torn ACL isn't the same as heart bypass surgery, but the fact remains that even if he works at home, he needs to be strong enough, and coherent enough, and in no real pain, to do that.

Back in college I was out after a shoulder surgery. The doctor wrote my excuse for 2 weeks. I went in after 1 week because I really felt fine and was a broke college student and needed the money. When I went in, I gave them my excuse and was told I had to go home. They said they would be held liable if I reinjured my shoulder during that week I was supposed to be out. They wouldn't even let me get a new excuse from my doctor.

Is he costing you money?

Are you having to do some of his work?

If you answer "No" to both of these, why do you care?

Probably staying home just so he won't have to hear you whine all the time.

Or hear him try to manage his make believe multi-million dollar real estate empire while he is supposed to be rolling the quarters.

I'm looking at possibly buying one cheap rental property, but I'm glad you're butt hurt enough to not only make shite up but be personally grieved by it
