BMW was the biggest POS vehicle I ever owned. Never again.
Let us know how his Benz or BMW workouts in south LA after a little rain.

How can CEO be a professional position? Many CEO's never even went to college.
I guess if I'm reading this board correctly.... and a CEO has an MBA... professional.
CEO starts business in his garage and grows to large company... not professional.

So I did. I really meant no offense to anyone here. 'Course, I don't really give a shite if anyone is offended - 'cause they're douche bags if they are.

Professionals also do not dip/chew tobacco but many here disagree.

So a professional baseball player that never went to college is not a professional?

Sounds like your coworker is stuck with stupid stereotypes. A grown man drives what he wants.

I was going to agree with you until you went ahead and wrote...

He probably leases the newest mercedes every year. That idiot.
You basically did the exact same thing you are complaining about. Except you don't agree with his car choice.

Tell your buddy, my wife drives our Audi while I drive a F150.
Also tell him that most of my Dr's I work with (all across different parts of Texas) drive a truck, while the wives drive the Audi's, Benz, and Bimmers.

Unfortunately your coworker's opinion no matter how stupid is not uncommon. There are some HOAs that will not allow you to have a pickup truck in you home's driveway ever, it must be hidden in the garage at all times.

The term "professional" is highly over-rated and over used.

Depends on the area I guess.
*Looks at parking lot*
Only two trucks here, most are Mercedes, BMW, Acura, Lexus, Audi and with several prius sedans.

I actually catch myself rolling my eyes at professionals that drive pussy arse BMWs.
I don't drive a BMW or a luxury car. But I also don't drive a pickup, because I live in the city. Why does someone who doesn't need a truck need a truck in your eyes?

I'd probably drive an SUV if I didn't need a truck

I drive about 30k miles a year for my job, so an SUV doesn't really suit me. My SO is in the market though and we'll be getting her an SUV.
Also I don't want to spend too much money on a newer SUV with better gas mileage that I'm going to put a ton of miles on.

Masters from LSU, professional, still driving my '94 Ranger, and sad to think I may have to replace it one day.

people that pay too much attention to others (image oriented) are not truly professional either
